Two Cents

Every Story Counts, Every Cent Matters

“Two Cents” is a livestream interview series where I talk with other Black people about raising money for projects big and small.

I have a lot of fundraising to do for my startup, The Focus Assistants (focusassistants.com) and for other ventures with Visual Webmaster (View my fundraising page). I’ve had an intense interest in finance my whole career. What makes finance so interesting to me is context; I always want to hear the story behind the numbers.

#RepresentationMatters

By amplifying voices that are often underrepresented in fundraising discussions, we explore the creativity and resilience that arise from navigating systemic challenges. Black people often come up with innovative solutions to overcome barriers. I’d love to hear some of these stories and share them with my livestream audience.

From grassroots initiatives to large-scale ventures, guests share their unique experiences, challenges, and successes in raising funds for their projects and causes. We all have to deal with money, whether or not we are finance professionals. “Two Cents” is named to reflect that anyone’s experience with money as they try to get something done is something we can all learn from.
